We are currently working toward a major milestone for our Hackney Pollinator Project, and we are looking for a visionary corporate partner to help us cross the finish line. We have successfully secured £2,500 in match-funding, meaning we have a unique opportunity to turn every pound donated into two. By joining us as a 'Match Catalyst,' your partnership will effectively double in value, transforming a £2,500 investment into a £5,000 total impact that will directly fund wildflower meadows, pollinator bursaries, and community education across East London.
The Challenge
The UK is one of the world's most nature-depleted countries. In Hackney, our pollinators are losing the habitats they need to survive.
80% of butterfly species are in decline.
97% of wildflower meadows have been lost since the 1930s.
The Solution
The Hackney Buzzline. We provide residents, schools, and community groups with "Pollinator Bursaries" the plants, seeds, and expert guidance needed to transform urban corners into wildlife havens.
What funding will provide
Pollinator-friendly plants and wildflower seeds suited to local conditions
Nesting resources including bee hotels and habitat materials
Practical training sessions for residents, young people and volunteers
Ongoing support from ecoACTIVE’s Postcode Gardener team
