Trustees

ecoACTIVE is looking for Trustees to join its Board and help guide the organisation through the coming months.

We are particularly keen to find younger people, or those who have direct experience of the issues facing our beneficiaries.
First-time trustees are welcome to apply.

You will have some time and energy to support ecoACTIVE with our wider mission of creating a world where young people and communities are agents of change for creating a better planet.

You can become an advisor to the Trustee Board, or a full member of our Trustee Board with decision-making responsibility.

Benefits for you:

  • Skills building and personal development

  • Trustee training available, plus an in-house induction

  • Out-of pocket expenses covered

  • Other opportunities to get involved in ecoACTIVE’s work

    Requirements:

We meet with our Trustees every two months (mostly remotely, but with some in-person meetings) and will require support via email or additional sub-group meetings between these times.

To apply for this position, please email [email protected] with a copy of your CV and a short covering letter outlining what you could bring to ecoACTIVE and what you are hoping to get out of a trusteeship or advisory role.  Please also complete and send over the equal opportunities monitoring form (below).  This will be detached from your application and won’t form part of the decision making process.
The Trustee role description is provided below.

We will accept applications for trustees on an ongoing basis
