We are recruiting for The Hackney Buzzline

We are currently seeking candidates for exciting opportunities within our latest initiative, The Hackney Buzzline. Thanks to the generous support of National Lottery players, The National Lottery Heritage Fund has made this project possible, aiming to connect people and communities with the rich heritage of the UK.

The Hackney Buzzline will see the creation of a four-kilometre pollinator corridor, linking four parks in Hackney through three social housing estates. These parks are vital local sites for nature conservation. Our plan involves establishing wildflower meadows, planting flower beds, and establishing 'stepping-stone' habitats to enhance pollinator diversity along the corridor.

Recruitment for Project Manager & Community Ecologist

The Project Manager & Community Ecologist will oversee the day-to-day management of the project. Responsibilities include monitoring and assessing the project's impact on both local communities and pollinators. During the summer months, this role will involve conducting ecological surveys, while the winter months will focus on project evaluation, reporting, and volunteer recruitment for the following year.
